For quick access so you know, there is no such thing as the best treatment of migraine! Do not believe those who say that there is such a thing!
In real life and in medicine, of course, there are only things that work and things that do not! Things that work for some people and things that do not work (the severity of the norm as far as we know it works for everyone, but that's another story).
Migrane Medicines
Here I want to go over some of the treatments for migraine that are available and remember, that the disease of unknown origin, and therefore some treatment options can stop a migraine in some individuals but not in others.
We first treatment with pharmacological agents, ie drugs! These consist of simple analgesics (aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen), alone or in combination with caffeine, opiates and other substances.
Then there are other categories of drugs that are used as antiemetics, triptans and ergot derivatives. Drugs aregiven to certain individuals as a prophylactic agent. This is to protect them from an impending migraine attack as prevention is always better than cure!
As I said before, there are a variety of drugs available to treat migraines, but unfortunately some people tend to suffer from recurring migraine attacks despite drug treatment.
Several alternative routes have been developed for the treatment of migraine that have actually helped people to avoid excessivePrescription drugs and consumption.
One of these is ... Massage! In this wonderful way to relax, even if it is not scientifically proven treatments that can help migraines, some people showed the head of pressure and tension.
Another option is acupuncture, where long very thin needles into the skin, can be implemented not in depth! - In some parts of the body. There was some evidence of positive effects, but not enough for doctors to recommend their routine.
Biofeedback otherHand has demonstrated effective relief of migraine pain. Biofeedback is a relaxation technique that uses special tools to control a person's body parts and answers in both cases or stop, before appearing aggressive teach. An example would be someone to learn to be aware of muscle tension and stress.
There are some herbs that have been shown to offer some relief migraine. Feverfew and butterbur have these. Coenzyme Q10 supplements with high doses of vitamin B2have shown some efficacy moderated, but you should consult your doctor before taking any of them. Feverfew and butterbur especially should not be taken by pregnant women.
There are also some other methods and substances for the treatment of migraine, but before them, or those who take the discussion, please contact your physician.
