Approximately 23.6 million Americans have suffered from migraines. Severe headaches have a significant influence in the United States, both for the individual suffering from them and on society as a whole. Considering only the cost of labor and lost productivity costs of migraine in the United States about $ 13000000000 a year. This is the equivalent of 112 million "bed-ridden days" per year. Migraines have also shown that the negative effects of aLives of individuals as arthritis, hypertension or diabetes.
Migraines are headaches, either unilaterally or on both sides, and are recurrent. Often the patient can "predict" the headache before it starts. Migrane

These headaches may be unilateral or bilateral, and are more common in women.
Classical migraine or migraine with aura, is surrounded by a more and more blinded by flashing lights about 30 minutes before the onset of headaches in advance. ThisMigraine lasts a few hours to 1-3 days, and are a little 'raised by a dark and silent. They are unilateral and throbbing, and there are often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. There is usually a family history of these headaches.
If the prodrome or more prominent than the headache lasts, is known as complicated migraine. There are three types of migraine complicated:

Feverfew,5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil), magnesium, calcium, riboflavin and vitamin D have all been shown to help headaches. Deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to relax the muscles at the back of the head, which may be involved, and ice packs on the back of the head narrows blood vessels and reduce the inflammatory response.
